Acquisition of a clinic

The client moved from Kazakhstan to Dubai and considered opening his own dental clinic. Since the process of opening a clinic is quite long and complicated, the client decided to explore the possibility of purchasing an existing business.

The client contacted our agency with a request to find an existing dental clinic with all the necessary licenses and permits, and in case of an attractive business, to provide further support during the transaction.

We selected five clinic options in various areas of Dubai and calculated their profitability. The client decided to choose a premium dental clinic located in Business Bay with a canal view, covering an area of 135 m². At the time of acquisition, the clinic employed 6 doctors and 2 administrators. All equipment, valued at up to AED 900,000, was included in the purchase price. In this segment, the clinic has no competitors. It has been operating for more than three years and has high ratings on local online platforms.

At the time of purchase, the clinic had achieved an overall ROI of 44% over the last three years under the previous owner, starting from scratch. Currently, considering the sale, the ROI fluctuates around 24.5% per year, as the clinic already has an established client base and does not require additional investments.

The initial listed price of the selected option was AED 2,700,000. Since we aim to maximize benefits for our clients, we conducted negotiations, during which the owner agreed to update the furniture in the offices and reduce the price to AED 2,500,000. The transaction took about two months, as both the seller and the buyer were involved in conferences and continuing education courses for practicing doctors.
